Therevox Sessions 1: Synth improv
April 23rd, 2012 posted by mike under Videos. This is the first video in our therevox sessions series, showcasing musicians recording and experimenting with the ET-4. Local musician Mark Calcott has been experimenting with his ET-4 for several weeks and invited me over to film some improvised synth jams.
We’ll be posting more soon! We’re also putting out an open call for any musicians in the area (Southwestern Ontario / Detroit) that want to try our demo model ET-4 in a live recording session. Please contact us!
The First ET-4 Video on Youtube
April 16th, 2012 posted by mike under Videos. Now that the first batch of ET-4’s has been completed, I’ve finally had some time to start learning to play the instrument. I recorded a quick version of my favourite song of the moment, Moriarty‘s “How Many Tides (For Sean Sellers)”. I hope you like it! We’re looking forward to seeing what our customers can do with the ET-4.
So you can hear what the ET-4 sounds like, this video was recorded without any effects or post-processing.
ET-4 booklets
April 16th, 2012 posted by mike under Therevox News. We’ve recently finished designing booklets for the ET-4. The first is a user manual, and the second is to record presets. The presets booklet has four factory presets including a Radiohead inspired Ondes Martenot setting, and 11 blank preset pages to save your own settings.

New blog!
March 26th, 2012 posted by mike under Therevox News. Our new website is finally up at therevox.com with pictures of the new ET-4. I’ve been playing serial # 1 for the past few days, and it’s been very fun playing a brand new instrument. I’m mainly a guitarist and a newbie on keyboard instruments, but I’ve been finding the ET-4 to be pretty easy to improvise on. I’ll be working on recording some sound samples soon and hopefully shoot some video of the instrument in action.
